Chandrashila is known as a place where Lord Rama mediates after Ramayana Yudh. Reaching at this peak is not an easy task. You need to go chopta, which is 35 km away from our homestay, and then your trek will start that goes from the hilly moutain region to a beautiful mountain view. After 5 km, you will reach Tungnath temple, and after completing the 1.5 km trek, you will reach this peak, from where you can see more than half the mountains of the Garhwal region.
Deoriatal, also known as Indra Sarovar, is known as a lake where Hindu gods used to take baths in that era. This lake is known for its natural view and serine water and is an important part of Hindu mythology, and just 29 km from our hotel.

After Bhima held onto the tail of the bull, Lord Shiva disappeared into the ground. He later reappeared in different parts of the region. Belief Behind The Story of 2nd Kedar- Tungnath
According to the Hindu mythology, after the war between Kauravas and Pandavas, the Pandavas leave their empire to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva to absolve themselves of their sins but, Shiva was try to hide from them in the form of a Bull. Pandavas encountered with a bull form of the Lord Shiva that was grazing near Guptakashi. Bhima recognise him and try to chase The bull was moving at a great speed and goes to Kedarnath, and it was challenging for the Pandavas to catch and hold him. Bhima, the second eldest of the Pandavas and the strongest one, try to chased the bull but was unable to catch it. Bhima grabbed the tail of the bull with all his might, and the bull vanished, leaving behind a hump on the ground.
